If Acer is a parent, it is not doting to its latest child, the Iconia Tab A510. The tablet has been out for months, yet Acer never publicly acknowledged it. During the CES, the gadget was nowhere to be found in Acer’s suite; instead it was spotted on NVIDIA’s booth as Acer’s first Tegra 3 tablet.
But Acer recently had a change of heart, as it proudly introduced the Iconia Tab A510 as its own chips and circuits. The tablet is available today for pre-order in the United States and Canada for US$450. Customers can choose from black or white casing, but it only comes in 32GB configuration for now.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 comes with a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, and a one-megapixel shooter at the front.
